Jason Shotwell

Jason Shotwell has extensive work experience in the field of IT operations and support. Jason is currently the Director of IT Operations at Butzel Long, where they lead a team and provides support to the firm's attorneys and staff. In this role, they are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining IT systems.

Prior to their current position, Jason worked at Clark Hill Law as the Director of Service & Support and Director of Help Desk. During their time there, they oversaw the IT support operations for the firm's global workforce, coordinated IT support during organizational mergers, and managed outsourced support for end-user technology assistance.

Before Clark Hill Law, Jason worked at Hewlett-Packard as an Asset Management Consultant, where they played a key role in managing a client asset management system migration. Jason also supported the development and implementation of processes for future consultants.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked at Asset Acceptance Capital Corporation as the Desktop & Collaboration Services Manager and IT Procurement & Help Desk Manager. Jason managed the implementation of a new desktop environment and transformed IT support operations through the implementation of a new Help Desk ticketing solution.

Jason began their career at Flagstar Bank as a Technical Support Analyst and Management Trainee.

Jason Shotwell has a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Management Information Systems from Oakland University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science degree (MS) in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University.
