Hugo Van Der Wedden

Hugo van der Wedden is an experienced content creator and advisor with a strong background in healthcare communication and nursing. Currently serving as a content creator at Buurtdokters and AlloMedics since January and June 2022, respectively, Hugo focuses on enhancing medical autonomy for general practitioners and addressing communication barriers with non-Dutch speaking patients. Previous roles include columnist for Nursing Magazine at Bohn Stafleu van Loghum, freelance blogger, and various content creation positions across organizations such as Roamler Care, FocusCura, Luscii, and Siilo. Hugo's earlier experience includes working as a nurse at OLVG and conducting research with stichting Tao of Care. Hugo holds a Master's degree in Medical Sociology and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam, along with a nursing degree from ROC Amsterdam.
