Tony Harverson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership and platform development. Currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer at Buyagift since May 2023, and as a Principal Engineer at Moonpig since August 2018, Tony has contributed to defining technology approaches and building scalable, resilient platforms. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at JUST EAT and Senior Developer at QSoft Consulting Ltd, along with leadership positions at Iglu.com and ePages.net, where responsibilities involved setting standards for development processes. Tony's career began as a Systems Administrator at Insight Technologies and an Internet Support Administrator at Computer King. Educationally, Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completed in 2000.
