Dominik Dorsch

Dominik Dorsch has a long and varied work history. Dominik began their career in 2001 as a Software Developer and System Administrator for BITPlan GmbH. In 2004, they moved to Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung (IKV) in Industrie und Handwerk an der RWTH Aachen as a Programmer and Student Assistant. In 2008, they became a Research Associate in Optimization at RWTH Aachen University. In 2014, they were promoted to Postdoctoral Researcher in Compressed Sensing. In 2016, they joined Blue Yonder as a Data Scientist, eventually rising to Senior Staff Data Scientist. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Buynomics as a Staff Data Scientist.

Dominik Dorsch attended RWTH Aachen University from 2002 to 2014, where they earned a Doctorate in Mathematics with a focus on Optimization in 2014, a Diploma in Mathematics with a focus on Partial differential equations/Calculus of variations in 2008, and studied Computer Science in 2002-2003.
