Dan Sherman

Dan Sherman has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Dan started their career as an Independent Insurance Agent at Oakwood Insurance Agency in 1994, where they advised and controlled all aspects of life, health, and property/casualty insurance. In 1996, they joined Sentry Insurance as a Sales Representative, developing and expanding the commercial, pension, and P/C markets. Dan later became a Sales Team Leader, recruiting and training candidates in the insurance industry.

Dan joined AAA in 2000, initially as a Territory Sales Manager, where they managed the insurance operation in Minnesota, recruiting and training sales agents. Dan then became a District Manager, overseeing sales, service, and operations for a district and marketing all product lines. From 2005 to 2006, they served as the Director of Sales, managing and overseeing all sales, service, and field operations for a region and developing budgets and sales processes.

In 2010, Dan joined Farmers Insurance as a District Manager, responsible for managing and overseeing sales, service, and field operations for the district. Dan utilized their strengths in recruiting, hiring, training, marketing, and evaluation to rebuild and achieve high levels of production within the district.

Dan joined TechStar IT Solutions in 2013 as the VP of Sales, providing leadership and coordination of the company's sales and marketing functions. Dan developed and implemented sales and marketing strategies and monitored and analyzed sales activity against goals.

In 2014, Dan returned to Oakwood Insurance Agency, this time as the Owner. Dan took on the role of Vice President at Buzz Impressions in 2019, and later became the Director of Business Development at Buz Expressions in 2020, responsible for developing and expanding the company's business.
