Eric Poulton

CFO at BVGroup

Eric Poulton has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the CFO at BVGroup, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, they were the Group Finance Director at TCS John Huxley from April 2013 to May 2020. Eric also served as a Non-Executive Director at Methys Group from October 2010 to June 2015 and as the Head of Finance at Betclic Group from May 2010 to April 2013. Before that, they were the CFO at Globet International Sports Betting Ltd from June 2008 to May 2010 and the Group Financial Controller at Carmen Media from June 2006 to May 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked at Standard Bank as the Head of Finance, Knowledge Manager from October 1999 to February 2005 and at Stoncor Group as a Financial Accountant from 1998 to 1999. Eric began their career as a Director at PlastiPrint Laminating from January 1995 to December 1998.

Eric Poulton obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce Honours degrees in Finance from Stellenbosch University in the years 1991 and 1996 respectively. Eric then went on to pursue an MBA degree at Wits Business School from 2002 to 2005, focusing on Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Equity Investing, Executive Coaching, Negotiations, and Strategy. Additionally, they hold the designation of Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from an unspecified time. Eric Poulton also has various certifications in the gambling industry, including licensing from state and regulatory authorities such as the State of Washington Gambling Commission, State of New Jersey Gaming Enforcement, and Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore, among others.
