Ben Doherty is a seasoned professional in architecture and design, currently serving as a Researcher at BVN Architecture since December 2021. In parallel, Ben has been a Course Coordinator at UNSW since 2017, leading a Python course tailored for designers and artists. Previously, Ben founded Walden Pond, a magazine aimed at managing digital reading distractions by creating a printed format. With a robust background at Architecture BVN, encompassing roles such as R&D Leader, Product Manager, and Computational Designer, Ben has contributed significantly to building occupancy analysis, innovation in data-driven products, and computational design education. Additional experience includes tutoring at UNSW and UTS and software design at Autodesk. Ben holds multiple degrees in architecture, including a Bachelor of Architecture from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Science in Architecture: Computing and Design from the University of East London.
