Tara Leiter

Tara Leiter has extensive work experience in the legal field. Tara is currently serving as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at BW Energy since October 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Senior Counsel from August 2012 to October 2020. Before joining ExxonMobil, Tara was an Attorney at Blank Rome LLP from April 2007 to August 2012. Tara also served as a Senior Counsel at ACI Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Tara started their career as a Counsel at Law Admiralty LLC in 2002 and held that role until 2005.

Tara Leiter has a Bachelor's degree in Law and International Relations from the University of Malta. Tara also holds an LLM in International Law from the same university. Tara further pursued an LLM in International Maritime Law from the International Maritime Law Institute in 2000-2001. Additionally, Tara has participated in the Juris Doctorate Program at Samford University. Tara has also earned Leadership Certificates in Business Management from both the Thunderbird School of Global Management and the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
