Rajesh Divakaran

Rajesh Divakaran is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as General Manager and Head of Group Crewing Services at BW Group since August 2022. Prior to this role, Rajesh held various positions in prominent maritime organizations, including Deputy Director of HR Sea at Eaglestar Marine Holdings (L) Pte. Ltd. and Director at The International Maritime Employers' Council Ltd (IMEC). Rajesh's career encompasses significant roles at Thome Group, including Head of Marine HR and Deputy Head of Group Strategic Crewing, as well as managerial positions at SeaTeam Management Pte. Ltd. and Norstar Group of Companies, among others. Rajesh began in the maritime field as a Ship Management Trainee at Kotani Shipmanagement in Cyprus and possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate training in Marine Engineering. Additionally, educational credentials include a diploma in Crew Management from North West Kent College, UK.
