Michael Eisentraut

Michael Eisentraut is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic and operational procurement, product development, and project management across multiple industries. Currently serving as Bereichsleiter Einkauf und Zentrale Dienste at BwFuhrparkService GmbH since June 2021, Michael oversees a team of 60 employees and contributes to mobility solutions for the German armed forces. Prior to this, Michael held the role of Vice President Electrification at DEUTZ AG, focusing on the development of hybrid and fully electric products. Michael's career at Deutsche Post AG spanned over 13 years, where various leadership roles included managing procurement for electric commercial vehicles and overseeing the construction of Europe’s largest parcel sorting center. Earlier experience includes positions at Unilever, where responsibilities included managing material supply for core skincare brands and implementing lean management practices. Michael Eisentraut holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Produktionstechnik from Technische Universität Dresden and a Vordiplom in Maschinenbau from Ruhr University Bochum.
