Frances Higgins

Frances Higgins currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund (IGBF) since November 2021 and holds a position on the National Executive Committee as Vice Chair, active since 2008. In addition, Frances is a member of the TWIG - Today's Women In Grocery National Executive Committee since April 2016. Frances has been with BWG Foods since April 2009, where the role is Head of Promotions for Retail/Wholesale, having previously held positions as Head of Foodservice Trading and Trading Manager from April 2007 to 2009. Prior experiences include Trading Manager at Adm Londis Plc from December 1998 to April 2007, Trading Assistant at Dunnes Stores from September 1988 to November 1998, and Junior PA at H. Williams from April 1987 to August 1988. Frances's educational background includes studies at Rathmines Senior College and WSET from 2005 to 2007.
