Garey Pritchett

Garey Pritchett, PhD, CHP, possesses extensive experience in health physics and management, currently serving as the Manager of NMC Accountability Operations and Shipping Container Technical Engineer at BWX Technologies, Inc. since April 2008. Previous roles at BWX include Manager of NMC Measurement Control & Transportation, Principal NDA Engineer and Group Leader, and Senior Health Physicist and Group Leader. Prior to BWX, Garey worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from January 2005 to April 2008, holding positions as Health Physicist and Health Physics Technician. Garey earned a PhD in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2013-2018), an MS in Health Physics from Georgetown University (2004-2007), and a BA in Physics from McDaniel College (2000-2004).
