Jordan Blake

Jordan Blake is a Mechanical Design Engineer at BWX Technologies, Inc. since July 2021, specializing in structural and mechanical design as well as design for Additive Manufacturing. Currently serving in the Marine Innovation Unit of the Marine Forces Reserve since January 2023, Jordan previously gained experience as a Pathways Intern at NASA, focusing on testing, engineering, and research in aviation and aerospace from May 2020 to July 2021. With a background that includes roles such as Motor Transport Section Leader and Mechanical Engineer CoOp at Diebold Nixdorf, where responsibilities involved design, modeling, and prototype testing, Jordan has accumulated diverse engineering experience since beginning as a Motor Transport Operator in the United States Marine Corps. Educational credentials consist of a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering expected from The University of Akron in May 2025, alongside a Bachelor's degree and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering obtained from the same institution and Stark State College, respectively.
