Irvin Lemus is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in education, technical support, and competition coordination. Currently serving as a Cyber Range Engineer at By Light Professional IT Services, Lemus builds and supports the NORTHCOM cyber range, managing virtual environments and training exercises. As a Co-Principal Investigator with the Contra Costa Community College District, Lemus focuses on increasing diversity in the cybersecurity talent pool through cyber camps and competitions. Additional roles include Director of Content Development for the Pacific Hackers Association and Regional Coordinator for Bay Area Cyber Competitions, where Lemus supports community colleges in cybersecurity programs. Previous academic roles include professorship at Cabrillo College, teaching various cybersecurity courses, and serving as a Cyber Competition Regional Coordinator at Coastline Community College. Lemus has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Mt Sierra College.
