Layne Wentz

Layne Wentz is an experienced IT professional with a strong focus on cloud security and network engineering, currently serving as a Cloud Security SME and Lead Network Engineer at By Light Professional IT Services since September 2013. Previous roles include Chief Technical Officer at Jetisyn Technology Solutions LLC, where strategic consulting and technical solutions were provided, and Telephony Application Engineer at Time Warner Cable, focusing on telephony application support and web server management. Layne also contributed to the FBI IT modernization project as a Design and Engineer Support Analyst at GRSI and held various technical and leadership positions at Cynergi Systems, B & R Communications, and Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Computer Science Software Development at Strayer University, Layne also has educational experience at the University of Maryland Global Campus in Computer Science.
