Mim Etchells has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career as a Cookery Intern at Good Housekeeping Magazine in 2012. From there, they worked as a News and Features Writer at The Pharmaceutical Journal before transitioning into the events industry.

In 2012, they joined Moving Venue Caterers as an Event Coordinator and later became an Event Manager. They then moved on to By Word of Mouth UK, where they held various roles including Event Planner, Senior Event Planner, and Senior Event Planner (Acting Head of Events). In these roles, they managed sales and operations teams, developed relationships with venues and suppliers, and expanded the company's portfolio of clients.

In 2014, Mim returned to By Word of Mouth UK as the Head of Events. They independently managed a joint sales and operations team while maintaining the largest contribution to the company's yearly turnover. They also managed relationships with venues and suppliers and expanded the client portfolio.

In 2019, Mim joined Mustard Catering Limited as an Events Director. They took over management of the sales and operations teams, built the company's representation within the industry, and led a full assessment and overhaul of company sales, planning, and operational procedures.

In 2020, Mim worked as a Freelance Business Development Consultant temporarily before joining Good Monday as the Head of Sales, London. They joined as employee number 2 in the London office and built and drove a sales function for the Danish startup. However, due to the global pandemic, they had to pivot and strategize creatively to survive.

Their most recent role is as the Country Manager, UK at Good Monday, where they took over full management of the UK business and team, overseeing sales, operations, HR, and finance. Additionally, they built all systems and processes for the UK market while stabilizing, motivating, and growing a multi-skilled team.

Mim Etchells' education history includes a Level 3 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2022, a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from the same institution in 2014, a Management Development Program in Management from Hult Ashridge in 2018, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music from the University of Nottingham in 2010-2011, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music from the same university in 2007-2010.
