Rashid Badruddin

Rashid Badruddin is the current Head of Operations at Byco Petroleum Pakistan Ltd. Rashid has over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Rashid started their career as Assistant Manager at Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited, where they were responsible for the design, erection, and commissioning of the 20,000 barrels per day refinery. Rashid then became the Maintenance Manager and Turnaround Coordinator for the refinery’s first turnaround. In 2006, they were promoted to Senior Manager, and was responsible for the coordination with the design consultant, review of drawings, review of work packages, bid evaluations, selection of contractors, procurement, review of schedules & coordination with various suppliers and contractors. After the revamp, refinery production reached 30,000 barrels per day. Rashid has played a key role in the success of Byco Petroleum Pakistan Ltd, and has been instrumental in its growth over the years.

Rashid Badruddin completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
