Zhen Yang

Zhen Yang currently serves as Algorithm Deputy Chief Engineer at BYD, focusing on perception algorithm and system research and development for autonomous driving since March 2023. Prior to this role, Zhen held various positions at Huawei from July 2016 to March 2023, including Principal Engineer and Senior Research Engineer, specializing in deep learning-based vision perception algorithms. Zhen also worked at Delphi as a Vision Algorithm Developer and held positions at Bosch China and Bosch RTC@Palo Alto, contributing to gesture recognition algorithms for the iGlove project. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Engineer in Software for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Harman International and as an Algorithm Developer at Shanghai Howell Electronic Co., Ltd, where Zhen developed intelligent video analysis algorithms. Zhen holds a Master's degree in Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Pattern Recognition, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Shanghai University.
