Linnea Michaelsen

Linnea Michaelsen has worked as the Head Designer at Byer California since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Design and Development at LE TOTE from 2014 to 2018, where they launched the company's private label apparel division and created multiple private label brands. Linnea also worked at Gymboree as the Senior Designer for Newborn from 2010 to 2014, where they set the concept direction and managed a design team. During their time at Gymboree, they also worked as a Designer for Kid Girl from 2009 to 2010 and as an Associate Designer for Kid Girl from 2008 to 2009. Linnea also has experience as a Designer at Levi Strauss & Co., an Instructor at the Academy of Art University, and as the Owner of Lilja Designs, Inc., where they established and managed a fashion brand. Linnea also worked as an Associate Designer at Margaret O'leary Inc. and as an Instructor at the Academy of Art University.

Linnea Michaelsen pursued their Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design / Knitwear Design from the Academy of Art University. Linnea attended the university from 1997 to 2000, completing their education in this field during that time.
