Thea Marie Dam

Thea Marie Dam currently serves as Kontorchef for Lokalisering & Udlejning at Bygningsstyrelsen, a position held since June 2020, overseeing four teams to address the spatial needs of government institutions while safeguarding state interests in real estate. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Københavns Kommune from 2012 to 2020, where Thea was instrumental in optimizing municipal properties and planning new institutions, while also managing cross-departmental projects related to space utilization and green area planning. Earlier roles include serving as a fullmægtig at the Uddannelses- og Forskningsministeriet, supporting the Strategic Research Council, and as a scientific assistant at the University of Copenhagen. Thea holds a Master in Strategic Urban Planning from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, supplemented by an exchange year at New York University.
