Robin von Hagen

Robin von Hagen has extensive work experience in research and development, project management, and new business development in the chemical industry. They have worked at various companies including BYK Additives & Instruments, BYK Additives Ltd., BYK-Japan KK, ALTANA AG, and Universität zu Köln. During their time at BYK Additives & Instruments, they held roles as the Head of Application Technology Wetting & Dispersing and the Head of Laboratory End Use Upstream Solutions. At BYK Additives Ltd., they served as the Interim Head of R&D. Their responsibilities included leading teams, conducting research and development projects, creating product presentations, and participating in the hiring process. They also played a key role in the development of a new business field for BYK in the energy storage market. Additionally, they managed projects at ALTANA AG and worked as a researcher and academic employee at Universität zu Köln.

Robin von Hagen received their Abitur from Erasmus Gymnasium Grevenbroich in 2004. They then pursued a Diplom in Chemie at the University of Cologne, graduating in 2009. After that, Robin completed their doctoral studies at the same university, obtaining a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemie in 2013.
