Cory Herring

Cory Herring has extensive experience in data analytics and data architecture. Cory is currently working at Byline Bank as an Assistant Vice President and Manager of Data Analytics. Previously, they worked at Envoy Global as an Associate Manager of Data Analytics. Before that, they held the position of Data Architect (Sr Technical Lead) at PowerObjects. Cory also has experience as a Senior Data Analyst and Lead Consultant at MCA Connect, as well as a Consultant in Business Analytics. Cory started their career at Advia Credit Union, where they worked as a Data Architect and later as a Lending Analyst.

Cory Herring obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Michigan University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained various certifications, including "Inferential Statistical Analysis with Python," "Python Functions, Files, and Dictionaries," "Python Basics," and "Understanding and Visualizing Data with Python" from Coursera in 2019. Cory also obtained certifications from Lynda.com, including "SQL Server 2016: Administer a Database Infrastructure," "Database Foundations: Core Concepts," "Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012," "Learning Data Governance," "Learning PowerShell 5," "Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Essential Training," and "SQL Server: Triggers Stored Procedures and Functions" in 2017. Additionally, they obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate" certification from Microsoft in December 2020.
