Hal O'Donnell

Hal O'Donnell has over 20 years of experience in various roles in the banking and credit industry. Hal most recently served as the Vice President and SBA Portfolio Management Group Manager at Byline Bank since 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Inland Bank and Trust as a Vice President from 2008 to 2016, where they managed both performing and distressed loan portfolios and oversaw an OREO portfolio. From 2003 to 2007, they served as a Vice President at INTRUST Bank, where they cultivated, negotiated, originated, underwrote, and monitored commercial loan portfolios. Hal began their career as a Credit Manager at Carter Petroleum Products, Inc., where they led a team and oversaw credit policy enforcement. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in loan documentation, financial analysis, negotiation, compliance, and communication skills.

Hal O'Donnell completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, which they attended from 1981 to 1985. Hal later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General from Regis University, where they studied from 1989 to 1991.
