Michael Yohanan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael started their career in 2002 as a Loan Officer Assistant/Fair Lending Investigator at First Bank & Trust, Chicagoland, where they assisted loan officers, participated in senior loan meetings, and reviewed loans for discriminatory behavior. In 2007, they worked as the Buzz Magazine Editor at Illini Media, where they managed a team of 20 writers, planned and edited content for print and online publication, and developed the magazine's online environment.
From 2009 to 2011, Michael worked as a Motion Control Camera Operator at MK Films Group, and then joined Questar Inc. as a Programming & Digital Content Manager. In this role, they managed a production team, oversaw digital accounts, and developed a video syndication platform using the Brightcove Video Cloud.
In 2013, Michael took on the role of Digital Content Manager at TC Digital, where they managed digital content and metadata for various video platforms. Michael also worked as a Marketing & Project Management Consultant at First Bank & Trust, Chicagoland, during this time, where they researched and organized marketing initiatives, created and launched a social media policy, and project managed website development.
Continuing at First Bank & Trust, Chicagoland, Michael became the Vice President & Marketing Director in 2017. Michael then held positions as Vice President, Marketing Officer, and Vice President, Product Marketing, before assuming their current role as Vice President, Digital Banking Strategy at Byline Bank in 2021.
Michael Yohanan completed their Bachelor's Degree in English and Film Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2008. More recently, in 2020 and 2021, they attended Kellogg Executive Education for Product Strategy, although their field of study is not specified.
