Blaise Ntacyabukura has worked in the medical field since 2016. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Director of Innovation and Director of Research at Global Health Focus. In 2021, they became a Research Assistant at CANImmunize, and in 2022 they became an Associate Editor at Public Health Challenges Journal. In 2018, they also worked as a Medical Doctor at King Faisal Hospital Kigali. In 2020, they were appointed as the Chief Medical Officer at BYON8.
Blaise Ntacyabukura obtained a Doctor of Medicine - MD from the University of Rwanda in 2018. Blaise then went on to pursue a Master's degree of Medical Sciences in Public Health from Karolinska Institutet in 2019, specializing in Health Promotion and Prevention. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications, including a Certificate of Completion of MOOC on implementation research (IR) with focus on IDP from TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases in 2018, a Capacity Building Training Workshop for the AU Member States on Viral Hepatitis from the African Observatory of Science, Technology and Innovation - African Union in 2018, a Certificate for successful completion of Ethics course of Research on human subject from NIH Research & Consulting in 2017, a Presenting my Research During Merck Africa Research Summit 2016 from MERCK and African Union in 2016, a Certificate of completion the Global health course from Global Health Focus in 2016, a Presenting my Research during Epidemiological Transition Conference from the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 2016, and a Teaching Family planning and sexual health from RWANDA MEDICAL STUDENT ASSOCIATION in 2014.
