Maegan Chavez

Maegan Chavez has an extensive work experience in the construction industry. Maegan started their career as an HR Assistant at Pate Engineers in 2007. Maegan then gained experience as a Project Manager Intern at Hassell Construction Co. Inc. in 2012, where they helped manage road construction projects. In 2013, they worked as a Project Engineer at R. Hassell Builders, a sister company to Hassell Construction Co. Inc. Maegan then joined Scott + Reid General Contractors, Inc. in 2014, initially as a Project Engineer and later as a Superintendent. Maegan held the role of Superintendent until 2022. Currently, Maegan is working as an Assistant Project Manager at Byrne Construction Services, starting in 2023.

Maegan Chavez completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management from the University of Houston from 2009 to 2013. Maegan also obtained the certification of Associate Constructor from the American Institute of Constructors in March 2013. In October 2012, they received the OSHA 30-Hour certification in Construction Safety & Health from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Moreover, in September 2018, they became Procore Certified as a Project Manager in Project Management from Procore Technologies.
