James Peters is a seasoned Banking and Financial Services Senior Associate at Eversheds Sutherland since June 2019, with a dual role also serving as a tutor for the PPC 1 and PPC 2 courses at the Law Society of Ireland since February 2020. James has extensive experience as a solicitor in Banking and Financial Services at ByrneWallace since February 2014, alongside a prior in-house role at Pepper Financial Services Group and a traineeship at Orpen Franks. Initial legal training included a legal internship at A.I.B. and volunteer work as a legal intern with Pivot Legal LLP in Canada, paired with early experience as a law searcher at Hibernian Legal. James holds a range of qualifications, including a Diploma in Finance Law and a Master’s degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice from University College Dublin, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith College Dublin.
