Jay Harsevoort

Jay Harsevoort is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Byron Center Public Schools since October 2015. Previous roles include positions as Coordinator for the RCA Care Network and Global Mission at the Reformed Church in America from 2001 to December 2013, and an English Teacher at Makumira Secondary School from January 1998 to December 1999. Additional experience encompasses private teaching and logistics with the New Sudan Council of Churches. Jay's educational background includes a Graduate Studies program in Elementary Education Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Valley State University, ongoing studies at Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
