Colin C. MacKenzie

Colin C. MacKenzie has a diverse and extensive background in music consulting, marketing, and project management. Currently serving as the Marketing and Special Projects lead at Byta since March 2020, Colin has developed creative marketing solutions and produced online events in collaboration with various industry partners. As the President and Founder of Whatnot Productions since 2000, Colin has specialized in grant writing and strategic career consulting for artists. Colin's past roles include managing artists and special projects at Envision Management & Production, where over $1 million CAD in funding was raised, and co-directing the film "Balakrishna" at the National Film Board of Canada. Additionally, experience includes producing radio programming for CBC Radio 2 and overseeing podcast production for The Historica-Dominion Institute. Colin holds a BFA in Photography from the University of Ottawa and has contributed as a music critic for The Coast Magazine.
