Kenneth Shortrede

Kenneth Shortrede began their work experience in 2020 as a Software Engineer Intern at Echo Interaction Group. In this role, they gained experience in software engineering.

In the same year, they worked as a Software Engineer at Fasting Shape, where they developed a mobile application for clients in the fitness industry. Kenneth created the app for both iOS and Android platforms and collaborated closely with clients to define requirements and designs using Flutter SDK and Android Studio.

Prior to that, Kenneth worked at Rollins College from 2018 to 2020. Kenneth served as a Programming Tutoring Consultant, training students in Java Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, and Python. Kenneth also guided students towards additional learning resources. Additionally, Kenneth held the role of Wellness Ambassador, organizing successful events for students and informing them about ways to improve their lives through fun and educational activities. Kenneth collaborated with different departments as an on-campus leader.

In 2021, Kenneth joined Byte Federal, Inc as a Software Engineer, where they are currently working.

Kenneth Shortrede attended Rollins College from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a minor in Business Management.

In addition to their academic studies, Kenneth also obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they completed the following courses from LinkedIn: "Game Design Foundations: 1 Ideas, Core Loops, and Goals," "Game Design Foundations: 2 Systems, Chance, and Strategy," "Game Design Foundations: 3 Pitch, Propose, and Practice," "Prepare for Unity Certification," and "Unity Certification."

Furthermore, in August 2020, Kenneth completed the "Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Value Estimations" course from LinkedIn. Additionally, in December 2019, they earned the "C++ Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn.
