Chao Yang

Chao Yang is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Trenz, where they are committed to reshaping the future of social commerce by leveraging AI techniques. With a vision for a dynamic ecosystem connecting sellers, manufacturers, and consumers, Chao emphasizes agility, personalization, and innovation. They previously served as a Software Engineering Team Lead at ByteDance and held a Senior Principal Software Engineer role at Aruba following the acquisition of Niara, where they were a Senior Data Engineer. Chao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Harbin Institute of Technology.
