Peng Wang

Peng Wang is an accomplished researcher in the field of computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Staff Research Scientist and Tech Lead at ByteDance from November 2019 to March 2025. In this role, Peng Wang focuses on developing an Unified Model for MultiModal Understanding and Generation, as well as prior projects involving AR, 3D scene understanding, and efficient mobile models. With experience as a Staff Research Scientist and a Senior Research Scientist at ByteDance, and earlier roles at Baidu USA and UCLA, Peng Wang has contributed significantly to advancements in 3D reconstruction, deep learning techniques, and state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms. Educational achievements include a PhD in Computer Vision & Statistics from UCLA and dual Master's degrees in Computer Science from Peking University.
