Steven Gu currently holds dual roles as Global Business Partner Lead and Global User Experience Manager in Real Estate and Facilities at both TikTok and ByteDance since October 2023. Prior experience includes positions at LinkedIn as Workplace Research Manager and Analyst from September 2021 to October 2023, and Graduate Research Associate at The Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation for a short period in 2021. Steven has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Research Assistant at Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, and participated as a Fellow with the Massachusetts Port Authority. Previous experiences include internships with the United Nations ESCAP and the Centre for Liveable Cities while holding roles at the Urban Land Institute. Steven earned a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Urban Studies and Political Science from Swarthmore College.
