Wu Xiang

Wu Xiang is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Lead of Computing Infrastructure at ByteDance since August 2018, overseeing computing infrastructure systems for container and elastic computing products that support both ByteDance’s main business and Volcano Engine customers. Prior to this role, Wu led a container orchestration and scheduling team at ByteDance, focusing on cloud-native workloads and resource management. With a solid foundation in software development, Wu held positions at Hulu as a Senior Software Development Lead and Senior Software Development Engineer, contributing to Ads intelligence, data warehousing, and data visualization. Wu also gained experience at Google, working on search infrastructure and image editing. Wu holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
