Xian Liu

Xian Liu is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture across various prominent companies in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Technical Lead Manager at ByteDance since August 2024, Xian Liu previously held the position of Director of Engineering at PingCAP, spearheading the storage R&D Department. Notable contributions at Alibaba Group from August 2015 to May 2022 included leadership roles in developing key features of Alibaba AnalyticDB and architecting the Alibaba Graph Database. Additionally, Xian Liu has experience as a Senior Staff Engineer at Seagate Technology, a Staff Software Engineer at FutureWei Technologies with two patents filed, and a Senior Software Engineer at Huawei, playing key roles in cloud computing and IMS solutions.
