Xinyang Zhang

Xinyang ZHANG is an experienced engineer specializing in product research and development, with a strong background in full-stack software engineering. Currently serving as a Product RD and Infrastructure-Growth-FrontEnd Engineer at ByteDance since December 2020, Xinyang focuses on creating micro-services and CRM platforms to enhance user experience across web and mobile applications. Previous experience includes a role at Micro Focus, where Xinyang contributed to the development of a next-generation Configuration Management System and various enhancements to API systems. Earlier work at Daric involved building financial applications, while participation in a hackathon led to winning a prize for a crisis hotline auto-translation service. Xinyang has also developed educational applications for children with disabilities and completed extensive web development training. Xinyang holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong.
