Yan Gao

Yan Gao has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Regional Head of South East Asia for both ByteDance and BytePlus since January 2025. Prior to these roles, Yan held the position of Head of South East Asia at Kingsoft Cloud from January 2021 to September 2024. Yan's career includes significant tenure at Huawei Technologies, where responsibilities spanned from Vice President to Head of Sales and Solution Manager in the Technical Sales Department from July 2008 to January 2021. Early career experience includes positions at Ulticom, Michigan State University, Motorola, Data Storage Institute, and Ericsson, starting from 2001. Yan holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National University of Singapore, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tianjin University.
