David Ericson

David Ericson serves as the Director of Digital Media and Technology (CTO/CIO) at BYU Broadcasting since May 2018, overseeing original content creation and distribution across various media formats. Ericson's extensive experience in technology and media includes roles as an Executive Technology Consultant and Founder of LIVERight365, which honors organ donors through acts of kindness. Previously, Ericson played a crucial role in developing Sling TV at EchoStar Corporation and served as a VP at Move Networks, leading the transition of the company into a prominent OTT service provider. Ericson's career also includes significant contributions to telecommunication advancements, such as the first VoIP interexchange carrier in the U.S. and managing key product lines generating substantial revenue. Education was completed at Brigham Young University.
