Michael K. has a solid background in the field of library management and technology. Michael started their career in 2001 as a Six Sigma Black Belt at Florida Blue and worked there until 2006. Michael then served as the Director of Library Systems and Technology at the University of North Florida from 2007 to 2016, where they provided leadership and managed support staff. From 2016 to 2020, Michael worked at Virginia Tech as the Assistant Dean and Chief of Staff, contributing to strategic planning and overseeing various library departments. In 2020, they joined Kucsak, Inc as an Educational Consultant, a role they held until 2023. Currently, Michael serves as the Chief Operating Officer at ByWater Solutions, starting in 2023.
Michael K. has a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree in Information Science/Studies from Florida State University. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in History with a focus on American History (United States) at Jacksonville University.
