Oleg Agafonov

Oleg Agafonov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Most recently, they are employed at Indexer.xyz since 2022, where they hold the position of CTO and previously worked as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Before that, they were the CTO and co-founder of SIP3.IO starting from 2017. At SIP3.IO, Oleg played a crucial role in developing the initial version of the platform and took on responsibilities as a technical lead and developer advocate.

Prior to these positions, Oleg worked as a Cloud Software Engineer at TeleStax from 2017 to 2018, where they initially joined as an Accounting squad lead but later became the head of the Infrastructure squad. During their tenure, they contributed to the development of various services and automation approaches.

In 2016, Oleg served as the Head of the Telecom department at QLabs, and from 2013 to 2016, they were a Senior Java developer (xVLR project) at MegaLabs. Their responsibilities at MegaLabs included developing high-loaded, high-availability systems and VoIP services for the Multifon platform.

Prior to that, Oleg worked as a Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) at Yandex in 2013, where they were involved in developing automation scenarios for the Yandex.Direct project. Oleg also participated in code reviews and scrum meetings.

In 2012, Oleg worked as an SDET at Parallels and Luxoft, where they contributed to various projects for PA and Deutsche Bank, respectively. Oleg focused on developing automation scenarios using Java and other technologies.

In 2011, Oleg started their career as a QA at Svyaznoy Zagruzka, where they worked on small web projects in Java.

Oleg Agafonov began their education journey in 2005 at Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), where they pursued a specialist degree in Software Engineering for Computational Techniques and Automated Systems. Oleg successfully completed their studies in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Oleg has also obtained certifications from Coursera. In March 2020, they completed the course "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning." Furthermore, in May 2020, they obtained a certification in "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction." The institutions responsible for these certifications were Coursera.
