Nishant Verman is an experienced professional with a background in corporate development, strategic partnerships, and angel investing. In 2020, they co-founded Bzaar, a company that is redefining how SMBs worldwide sell and source. In 2019, they co-founded Prefr, a digital referral platform for community doctors. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Vice President and Head of Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships at Flipkart, where they raised $22+ billion in capital and led the majority investment by Walmart for $18 billion. In 2017, they were self-employed as an angel investor and was a board member of MapmyIndia and a board observer of ZAPR Media Labs, Mech Mocha, and Tinystep. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Vice President of Canaan Partners, focusing on early-stage tech investments. Nishant was also a board observer of Surewaves.
