Jacob Bergqvist

Jacob Bergqvist has held a variety of positions in the past decade. In 2012, they were a TIG welder at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB, where they manually welded combustion chambers to gas turbines in stainless steel, inconel and heins, as well as grinding and gradation of details. In 2013, they were an Assembler at Pininfarina. In 2014, they were a Controller at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company. In 2015, they were a Technical Customer Support at Goteborg Energi. In 2016, they were a Quality Controller at ABB. In 2017, they were a Project Leader - Six Sigma Black Belt at QPharma AB and a Quality Engineer at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB. In 2018, they were a Project & Systems Engineer at Solvina and a Master's Thesis at Volvo Cars, where they investigated the organizational transformation towards agile to provide success factors and metrics for both Volvo Cars and future agile transformations. In 2019, they were a Chief Operating Officer, Operations Controller, and Operations Performance Manager at Bzzt AB, where they were involved in the start-up company developing mini mobility in urban cities. Jacob'srole included diverse responsibilities from business development to partnerships, service optimizations and analyzes of the company’s future development.

Jacob Bergqvist has a comprehensive educational background. Jacob earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Quality and Operations Management from Chalmers University of Technology in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Automation and Mechatronics from the same university in 2016. In 2012, they graduated from Nils Ericsongymnasiet with a Gymnasieexamen in Volvo Aeroprogrammet. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Applied Project Management from Wenell Management AB (2018), Six Sigma Black Belt from Chalmers tekniska högskola (2017), PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Specialties – Peak Performance Buoyancy, Dry Suit Diver & Enriched Air Diver, TIG welding, and Travers & Säkra lyft.
