Tony Alvarez

Tony Alvarez has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the transportation and financial services industry. Tony currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at C.A.T. Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing the Laredo terminal and leading the organization's strategies to expand their operations in Mexico. Prior to this, they worked at Celadon Group Inc. for 10 years as the Regional Vice President - Sales, driving sales in the Mexico markets and implementing revenue forecasts. Tony also served as the Area General Manager at GE Capital from 2005 to 2009 and as the Sales Branch Manager at GE TIP from 1991 to 2004.

Tony Alvarez completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio in the years 1980 to 1984. In addition, they obtained certifications in "Desarollo de Liderazgo y Habilidades Gerenciales" from Agenda Nacional de Negocios Caintra in 2018 and a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from GE in 2003.
