Keith Murdoch has extensive work experience in the petroleum industry. Keith started their career in 1996 as an Offshore Service Completions Engineer at FMC Corporation. Keith then moved on to work as an International Offshore Service Engineer at Dril-Quip UK from 1997 to 2000, where they were responsible for the installation and commissioning of subsea and surface wellhead and tree systems, as well as large bore tubular products.
In 2000, Keith became the Country Manager for KOP Surface Products in Thailand. Keith was the signatory representative for all Kvaerner projects in Thailand and was responsible for sales and service management for Thailand and surrounding countries.
From 2004 to 2007, Keith worked as a Product Manager at Aker Kvaerner, handling surface wellhead systems and drilling riser systems for international projects. Keith'sresponsibilities included product sales and support, technical solutions, customer negotiations, and delivering commercial and technical presentations.
Keith joined Weatherford in 2007 as a Product Manager for Surface Wellhead Systems. Keith served as the global business development group product representative, leading web content and providing expertise in project scopes, sales targeting, customer targeting, and account management.
At Dril-Quip Inc from 2009 to 2014, Keith worked in international project sales for subsea and surface wellhead equipment, as well as drilling and production riser systems. Keith conducted investigations, made recommendations on project scopes, targeted sales strategies, analyzed industry trends, and managed customer accounts.
From 2014 to 2017, Keith worked as a Senior Account Manager and Business Development Coordinator at Weir Oil and Gas. Keith was responsible for product development, market and customer analysis, training material authoring, marketing, web content, and supply chain management. Keith also served as the corporate coordinator for Dubai business development and contributed to the analysis of field problems and development of solutions.
For the past five years, since 2017, Keith has worked at PangTong Wellhead USA Inc. as a Sales Director. Keith'srole involved legal document review, product development, market analysis, business plan development and implementation, training, marketing, supply chain management, account management, and acting as a product expert in API/ISO surface equipment, valves, wellhead, manifolds, production, and fracking.
In addition to their various roles, Keith also established their own consulting company, KM Consulting, in 2022, where they served as the director for three months before transitioning to their current role as a Project Sales Manager at C-Automation.
Keith Murdoch attended Kirkcaldy Technical University from 1977 to 1984. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) EQ in SCOTEC Mechanical Production Engineering. Following their university education, there is no specific information available regarding Keith's education until 1997. However, it is known that they attended Inverkeithing High School, where they completed their high school education.
