Rui Benevides

Dr. Benevides was born into a military family, which meant he lived in various places both domestic and overseas, including Germany and Korea to name a few.

Dr. Benevides began his college education at Idaho State University. He earned his medical doctorate from Howard University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency in Texas at Scott & White Hospital. After his residency he remained at Scott & White as an Assistant Associate Professor for the Internal Medicine residency program. He then joined Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas as an inpatient physician. Before CC Young, Dr. Benevides was with Questcare in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
