George Mkushi

George Mkushi has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to energy, sustainability, and environmental management. George is currently working as the Research and Development Engineering Manager at C-Capture Ltd., where they lead the delivery of the R&D pilot program and showcases the capabilities of the team and their technology. Prior to this, George worked as a Principal Consultant at Ricardo Energy & Environment, specializing in the development of combustion and carbon capture processes. George also worked as the Engineering Director/Chief Engineer at East Energy Ltd, where they were responsible for process concept development, project management, and R&D project risk management. George has extensive experience in project management, process engineering, and renewable energy, having worked at companies such as Broadcrown Renewable Energy/C3Energia, Golder Associates UK Limited, and Ricardo-AEA. George started their career as a Research Technologist at Schlumberger, focusing on oilfield services research. George holds professional certifications as a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Chartered Waste Manager.

George Mkushi completed their Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Aston University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
