Tim Pirie

Tim Pirie has a diverse work experience with a strong focus in manufacturing and technology. Tim is currently employed as the Chief Technology Officer at CGI Inc. and has held this role since October 2021. Before that, they worked at CGI Inc. as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Systems and Technology from January 2020 to October 2021. From December 2013 to December 2019, Tim was the Director of Manufacturing Systems and Technology at CGI Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of Manufacturing Engineering Manager from April 2009 to December 2013 and Sr. Mechanical Engineer/Sr. Manufacturing Engineer from September 2005 to April 2009.

Before joining CGI Inc., Tim worked as the Operations Manager at Diablo Industries Thin Film from November 2003 to September 2005.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked at GE Energy - Bently Nevada LLC as a Six Sigma Black Belt from 2002 to 2003 and as a Project Manager from February 2000 to August 2002. Tim also worked at Bently Nevada as a Master Scheduler from September 1999 to February 2000.

Tim's work experience extends to Bently Nevada UK, where they worked as a Manufacturing Manager from May 1998 to September 1999.

Their earlier roles at Bently Nevada included Process Engineer from July 1997 to May 1998 and Manufacturing Engineer from July 1995 to July 1997.

Tim Pirie attended Southwest High School from 1987 to 1990. After graduating, they went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from 1990 to 1994. In February 1994, Tim obtained the certification of Engineer In Training (EIT) from the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Recently, in 2018 and 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at WSU Carson College of Business.
