Dejene Chucko

Dejene possesses more than 20 years of accounting experience, with expertise in the public funding and government contracting business environments. He brings his diverse knowledge of several areas, including internal controls, accounting system conversions, financial trend analyses, project revenue computations and recognition, and indirect expense pool setup to C-HIT.

Dejene is a regulations expert and ensures C-HIT compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and International Financial Reporting Standards. He provides oversight of all financial teams and tasks, ensuring consistency, transparency, and integrity of all transactions.

Prior to joining C-HIT, Dejene held several positions of accounting responsibilities, including Controller for Enlightened, Inc., and Director of Accounting for QSSI. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.
