Srivasavi Chaganti

Sri is a Maryland-licensed and Board-certified cardiologist with more than 14 years’ experience in the medical profession. Her knowledge of provider and patient healthcare services, combined with her extensive technical background, makes her the ideal subject matter expert and key driving force to guide C-HIT’s mission and vision.

Sri possesses extensive experience and thought leadership in healthcare and health IT in the government and commercial sectors. Her membership and active involvement in industry initiatives – HL7, FHIR, the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), the National 8 (a) Small Business Association, and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) – provide invaluable insight to C-HIT’s development teams in designing products and solutions that are innovative, powerful, and mission-centric.ß

Sri obtained her medical degree from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India, where she also participated in the National Service Scheme, National Pulse Polio Immunization, and National Family Planning programs. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program at Johns Hopkins University and Sinai Hospital Program of Internal Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She also completed the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program from the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
