Duncan Baillie

Duncan Baillie is an experienced Cloud Architect currently at C. Hoare & Co. since December 2019, following a role as Solutions Architect at HSBC from June 2015 to December 2019, where Duncan produced infrastructure design documents and led peer reviews. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Consultant at RedPixie, contributing to various cloud and desktop virtualization projects, and working with IT infrastructure at BlackRock and its predecessor Barclays Global Investors. Duncan's expertise spans Unix administration, technology engineering, and virtualisation, with significant contributions to financial services, including implementations of VDI and PAAS private cloud systems. Duncan Baillie holds a BSc in Computer Science and Electronics from The University of Edinburgh, obtained from 1981 to 1988.
